Imo PDP Guber Candidate, Anyanwu Commiserates with Ihedioha Over Mother’s Death
Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Imo State, Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu commiserates with his dear brother and former Governor of Imo State, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha over the death of his mother, Dame Dorothy Nsonma Ihedioha (Nee Okereke) at 90 years.
Information from the deceased family revealed that Late Dame Dorothy Ihedioha passed out on Thursday 20th April, 2023 in Abuja after a protracted illness.
Anyanwu describes her death as not only a big loss to Mbutu community in Aboh Mbaise local government area, but a heavy blow to the entire Mbaise nation and Imo state in general.
“As a virtuous woman, Late Dame Ihedioha, lived a life of emulation, her moral lifestyle was so exceptional that some women learnt from her the need to live in peace and unity with their neighbors. Late Dorothy Ihedioha was indeed, a godly woman who reflected the ideals of a true mother. It is obvious that her 90 years on earth was so impactful and development driven. Mbutu community has lost a great woman”.
Until her demise, late Dame Ihedioha was a community leader, great woman mobilizer, a practicing Christian and a known peace maker. She will be missed by those who directly and indirectly came across her.
While praying God to give those she left behind the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, the PDP Governorship standard bearer therefore regrets that she died when her wealth of experience was mostly needed.
The PDP candidate therefore charges the deceased children not to mourn like those without faith, expressing optimism that God who has called late Dame Ihedioha home will accept her soul in his bosom.
Anyanwu also enjoins all PDP members across the three zones and Imo people at large to remember the popular Ihedioha’s family in their prayers in this critical and trying time.
