Kano State Govt to Implement Reforms to End Salary Irregularities

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano state has pledged to put an end to unauthorized salary deductions affecting civil servants in Kano State. This commitment comes after the submission of an investigative report on the issue.

The report was presented at the Government House by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Farouk Ibrahim. It was commissioned to uncover irregularities in salary payments and ensure transparency in the system.

Receiving the report, Governor Yusuf reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to upholding workers’ rights. He stressed that timely and complete salary payments remain a top priority.

Governor Yusuf commended the investigative committee for its thorough work and vowed to carefully review and implement its recommendations. He assured workers that any policies found to be detrimental to their welfare would be adjusted accordingly.

To enhance accountability, Governor Yusuf announced plans to introduce a pay parade system across all ministries. This aims to accurately verify the number of civil servants and their earnings.
