Honourable Adamu Suleiman Kpautagi, the All Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearer for Lavun, Mokwa and Edati Federal Constituency, has concluded his appreciation and stakeholder engagement tour with visits to Kutigi, Doko and Dabban, where he received warm receptions, prayers, goodwill and words of encouragement from traditional rulers, religious leaders, party stakeholders, women and youths.
The engagements provided the candidate with an opportunity to express his appreciation to the people and APC family for the support, confidence and solidarity extended to him following his emergence as the party’s flag bearer.
In Kutigi, Honourable Kpautagi and his delegation paid a courtesy visit to the palace of the 21st Ezanuwan of Kutigi, Alhaji Muhammadu Kudu Ibrahim. The traditional ruler warmly received the delegation and offered prayers for the success of the candidate.
In his remarks, the traditional ruler gave fatherly counsel to Honourable Kpautagi, urging him to remain patient, calm, mature and steadfast throughout his political journey. He emphasised the importance of perseverance, humility and responsible leadership in the service of the people.
The delegation also visited the Chief Imam of Kutigi, Sheikh Dr. Isah Muhammad Kutigi, who was represented by the Naib Imam, Sheikh Abubakar Adamu Sidi. Prayers were offered for divine guidance, peace, wisdom and success for Honourable Kpautagi and his political journey.
The appreciation visit continued at the APC Party Office in Kutigi, where party leaders, women and a large gathering of enthusiastic youths welcomed the candidate and his delegation.
Speaking at the gathering, the Deputy APC Zonal A Coordinator, Alhaji Saba Ahmed, and the APC Chairman of Lavun Local Government Area, Alhaji Idrisu Adamu Muhammad, called for unity, cooperation and stronger grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Also speaking, the Director-General of the Kpautagi Campaign Team, Honourable Sani Abbas, described the engagement as a sincere appreciation visit to the APC family for its support, contributions and confidence in Honourable Kpautagi.
He expressed gratitude to party leaders, stakeholders, women, youths and members of the party across the grassroots, while urging them to sustain their unity and collective commitment towards the success of the party.
Responding, Honourable Kpautagi thanked the party faithful for the warm reception and continued support. He reaffirmed his commitment to meaningful consultation, humility, respect for all stakeholders and responsible representation if given the mandate to serve.
From Kutigi, the delegation proceeded to Doko Community, where Honourable Kpautagi paid a courtesy visit to the Estu Dazhi of Doko, Alhaji Yahya Abdullahi, accompanied by the Chief Imam of the community.
The delegation was warmly received by the traditional ruler and members of the community, while prayers were offered for the success, wisdom and guidance of Honourable Kpautagi.
The tour later continued to Dabban, where the candidate visited the palace of the Ndawangwa of Dabban, Alhaji Usman Sulaiman Karami. The visit provided another opportunity for Honourable Kpautagi to seek royal blessings, prayers and goodwill, while reaffirming his respect for traditional institutions and community leadership.
The conclusion of the appreciation and stakeholder engagement tour across Kutigi, Doko and Dabban marks another significant milestone in Honourable Kpautagi’s grassroots engagement efforts.
The tour has further strengthened relationships with traditional institutions, religious leaders, party structures, women, youths and other critical stakeholders across the constituency.
As the journey towards 2027 continues, the Kpautagi Campaign Team has reiterated its commitment to a campaign anchored on consultation, unity, peaceful politics, humility, inclusiveness and dedicated service to the people of Lavun, Mokwa and Edati Federal Constituency.
