Kwali Residents Jubilate As Wike Commissions Yangoji- Sukuku-Ebo Road

Excitement fills the air as Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike commissions the newly constructed 11km Yangoji- Sukuku – Ebo road in Kwali Area Council.

On the occasion in Abuja, the FCT Minister reassured Abuja residents of President Bola Tinubu’s readiness to provide more needed infrastructures for the rural dwellers.

Wike further gave an approval to construct an additional bridge in Kwali as requested by the Chairman, Danladi Chiya to properly link communities and improve the living standard of the people.

According to Wike, President Tinubu has directed him to grant any request that will be beneficial to people of FCT.

“Mr Chairman, let me tell you, that bridge you requested now will be done.Because you have led the people well, because you have supported this administration, because the people are happy with you, that bridge will be done.

” Mr President said, anything you want, you should ask me, we will do it for you. You are the first community giving road and street lights at the same time. Ours is promise made and promise kept.

” That’s to tell you that the Government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is committed for the development of our people. And therefore, all we urge you to do is to be patient. If you are patient at the end of the day,you will benefit from this administration. “

The FCT Minister thanked GILMORE company for renovating the dilapidated primary school in Sukuku village for free as their Corporate Social Responsibility and urged other organizations and companies handling various projects in FCT to emulate GILMORE in giving back to the society.

Giving a vote of thanks, the Minister of State for FCT, Dr Mariya Mahmoud who thanked President Tinubu for giving them the opportunity to serve, also commended residents for their cooperation.

On his part, the Chairman Kwali Area Council, Mr Danladi Chiya who could not hide his joy, rolled on the ground in appreciation and thanks giving to God for the development Kwali is experiencing under Renewed Hope Administration.

Mr Chiya confirmed that with the construction of the Sukuku- Ebo road issues of insecurity has been tackled while movement of goods and services has been made easy for the residents.

“Since you assume office Kidnapping, bandits, all these people have run away from Kwali because of the access road. We celebrated Christmas without hitches.We are grateful”
