In a time when many Nigerians are struggling to afford daily meals, Christmas can feel like a distant luxury. But for the thousands of displaced and vulnerable families scattered across the nation, Hope Raisers Global Foundation is rewriting the story.
This December, through its annual humanitarian drive — Project Christmas With Hope 2025 — the Foundation is setting out to light up lives across the 36 States of Nigeria and the FCT, reaching over 5,000 households and impacting more than 50,000 people.
With the theme, “Lighting Up Lives: A Christmas of Hope & Unity,” the initiative symbolizes more than food relief; it is a national call to compassion — a movement to unite hearts, rekindle love, and restore the dignity of families who have endured the brunt of hardship.
Feeding Hope, One Family at a Time
For many displaced mothers and fathers, the daily question isn’t what to eat, but if they will eat at all. The Foundation’s approach — distributing raw food items and essential condiments — allows families to cook, share, and celebrate in their own way.
“Raw food empowers families to make choices, to cook for themselves, and to celebrate with dignity,” says Ambassador Angonimi David-Imeh, Founder of Hope Raisers Global Foundation. “When a family gathers around a meal, hope is restored — and that hope is contagious.”
Through this thoughtful approach, Project Christmas With Hope goes beyond feeding bodies — it nourishes the spirit of resilience that defines the Nigerian people.

“Every grain of rice, every drop of oil, every meal shared this Christmas becomes a symbol of solidarity,” says David-Imeh. “When we extend our hands to lift others, we prove that love is still stronger than hardship.”
