Maltina, Nigeria’s leading nourishing malt drink, took part in the spectacular Eid Al-Kabeer Durbar festival in Zaria, celebrating the Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Nuhu Bammali, and honoring his enduring legacy.
At the Emir’s palace, Kabir Kasim, Corporate Affairs Manager of Maltina, highlighted the brand’s deep connection to Nigerian culture and heritage. “Maltina is proud to stand with the Emir, the palace, and the entire Zaria community as they celebrate this historic Durbar,” he said.
Maltina’s Consultant, Malam Abdulkadir Sarki, emphasized the brand’s long-standing support for Zazzau events. He recalled their participation during Ramadan in Zaria, where Maltina sponsored a Qur’anic recitation competition and awarded cash prizes to winners at the palace.
Sarki also noted the nutritional benefits of Maltina, saying, “Made with wholesome ingredients, vitamins, and minerals, Maltina strengthens immunity and refreshes the body. We encourage Nigerians to enjoy it during festive celebrations and beyond.”
The Durbar itself was a colorful display of tradition, featuring thrilling horse riding, traditional music, and royal pageantry.
