The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) FCT Chapter felicitates with its esteemed members and the National Chairperson, Hajia Aisha Ibrahim, for a joyous Eid-Maulud celebration. As we mark the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW), we are reminded of the values of compassion, kindness, and forgiveness that he embodied.
In a Press Statement jointly signed by the Chapter’s Chairperson, Comrade Bassey Ita Ikpang and Secretary, Nkiruka Okeke urged the faithful to uphold the values of the season to guide us as we strive to make our communities better.
May we be inspired by the Prophet’s teachings to promote peace, understanding, and unity in our society.
“We pray for peace, unity, and prosperity in our nation, and for the continued strength and resilience of our members as they carry out their duties as journalists and caregivers. May this special day bring joy, love, and blessings to all our members and their families”.
We also use this opportunity to appreciate the contributions of our members to the development of journalism in Nigeria. Your dedication, hard work, and commitment to ethical journalism are highly valued and recognized.
Once again, we wish our members a happy Eid-Maulud celebration. May Allah bless us all and grant us Peace.
Happy Eid-Maulud from NAWOJ FCT!
