NAWOJ Mourns with Liatu Bamaiyi Over Mother’s Passing

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) extends heartfelt condolences to Liatu Bamaiyi, former NAWOJ Chairperson, Kebbi State, on the passing of her beloved mother.


Liatu Bamaiyi is a respected journalist and leader who has contributed significantly to the development of journalism in Kebbi State. Her dedication to the profession and commitment to empowering women journalists are highly commendable.


The Association acknowledges the deep pain that comes with the loss of a mother, a pillar of strength and guidance in every family. At this moment of grief, NAWOJ stands in solidarity with Liatu Bamaiyi and her entire family, offering prayers and support as they navigate this difficult period.


NAWOJ also encourages friends, colleagues, and associates to keep the bereaved family in their thoughts and prayers, trusting that they will find comfort in the cherished memories and legacy left behind by the departed.


We pray for the repose of her mother’s soul and comfort for the bereaved family. May God grant them strength and patience during this difficult time.
