Niger State House of Assembly has reaffirm it’s commitment to monitor and supervise all the ongoing Government project in the state to ensure that the project is on track and meets the objectives and yearning of the people.
Chairman House Standing Committee on Works and Infrastructure and member representing Bosso Constituency Architect Suleiman Abubakar Gomna gave the assurance during the 2025 budget screening of the state ministry of works and infrastructural development.

The lawmaker explained that economic growth and development can only be attained When their is proper
monitoring and supervision because it is key to project’s success.
Gomna noted that the legistlative arm of government will support the state Governor Muhammad Umar Bago’s plan of achieving a new Niger state.
The state commission for Works and Infrastructure Suleiman Umar said the performance of the budget on the year under review was sixty nine percent and they were able to access seventy, adding that the challenges were surmountable.
He said the ministry has expedite action on several road projects across the state to enhance the socio-economic development of both rural and urban communities.
