WODGOH Celebrates Intl Day of Education 2025 at LEA Primary School Utako, Abuja

January 24, 2025, was a day of great excitement and learning at LEA Primary School Utako, as WODGOH (Women of Dignity & Girls of Honour Empowerment Initiative) commemorated the International Day of Education. The event aimed to emphasize the significance of education and inspire young minds to reach their full potential.

The WODGOH team, led by the Executive Director, Mrs. Adekunle Olaide Racheal, took the stage to share the importance of education and the theme of the year: “AI and Education: Preserving Human Agency in a World of Automation.”

She delivered a captivating speech, highlighting the transformative power of education with technology. She emphasized that education is the key to unlocking individual potential, promoting social mobility, and driving economic growth. She also stressed the importance of empowering educators, who play a vital role in shaping young minds and inspiring future leaders.

The students listened attentively, their eyes wide with curiosity and enthusiasm. They asked thoughtful questions, demonstrating their eagerness to learn and grow.

To make the event even more special, WODGOH gifted bags to outstanding pupils who had demonstrated exceptional academic performance and behavior. The students beamed with pride as they received their gifts, and their teachers looked on with joy and appreciation.

The event concluded with a group photo session, where the students, teachers, and WODGOH team members came together to celebrate the power of education.
