The Niger State Deputy Governor Comrade Yakubu Garba has felicitates with the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of this year’s Maulud Celebration.
The Deputy Governor, in a statement through his Press Secretary, Ummikhaltume Abdullahi Kuta, on Friday expressed joy as many Muslims across the world commemorate the birth of the prophet of islam (Muhammed SAW).
He described the period as sacred and spiritual as many Muslims gather for the celebration, recalling the virtues of our noble prophet (SAW).
Comrade Garba urged all Muslims who subscribed to this pious occasion to abide strictly by the teachings of the Prophet (SAW) as they carry out procession and all other activities lined up for the celebration.
The Deputy Governor also gave the state government assurance under his principal Farmer Umar Muhammed Bago, in ensuring adequate security so as to achieve a peaceful conduct throughout the celebration.
He then prayed and wish the Muslim Ummah a successful celebration, urging the youths to maintain decorum during and after the celebration.
