On behalf of Niger Foods Security Systems and Logistics Company Limited, the Executive Director, Mrs. Patience Koku, received a delegation from the Niger State Ministry of Agriculture on a courtesy visit to discuss possible collaboration for the forthcoming Niger State Council on Agriculture.
Mrs. Koku commended the Ministry’s dedication to advancing agricultural reforms and reaffirmed Niger Foods’ readiness to partner in achieving the council’s objectives. She emphasized that collaborations of this nature are essential to bridging the gap between policy formulation and practical implementation, ensuring that collective efforts deliver tangible benefits to farmers and other stakeholders in the agricultural value chain.
According to the Ministry, the council seeks to convene major stakeholders across the agricultural sector to deliberate on strategies that will strengthen the state’s agricultural systems and improve productivity.
The event, themed “Driving Transformative and Sustainable Agricultural Reform in Niger State: Bridging Policy and Impact to Overcome System Gaps,” is envisioned as a platform for policy dialogue, partnership development, and knowledge sharing among government institutions, private investors, and development partners. This initiative reflects the state government’s commitment to fostering innovation, addressing systemic challenges, and promoting sustainable agricultural reforms aimed at ensuring food security and inclusive economic growth in Niger State
