Nigerian Envoy -Designate to Mali Receives Letters of Credence

The Ambassador-designate of Nigeria to the Republic of Mali, Dr. Geoffrey Ijomah David Chima, has formally received his Letters of Credence, paving the way for the commencement of his diplomatic assignment in the West African nation.

The presentation ceremony was conducted by the Chief of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Babagana Wakil, on behalf of the Honourable Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, who was away on an official engagement outside the country.

With the presentation of the Letters of Credence, Dr. Chima is expected to depart for Bamako in the coming days to officially assume duty as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Mali. His mission will be to advance Nigeria’s foreign policy objectives and strengthen bilateral relations between both countries, in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda and the diplomatic vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
