Nigerians are anxiously awaiting the resumption of train services, especially on the Abuja–Kaduna route, which has become a vital means of transportation for thousands of commuters.
The Managing Director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), Dr. Kayode Opeifa, has been on the ground, closely supervising repair works and providing regular updates to the press. He reiterated that operations on the Abuja–Kaduna line, as well as the Warri route, will resume very soon.

With repairs nearing completion, Dr. Opeifa has continued to assure the public that the tracks are being fixed with urgency to restore confidence in rail transport. His commitment is to ensure that no stone is left unturned in bringing back safe, reliable, and timely train services for Nigerians.
The Nigerian press has commended his resilience and hands-on leadership, describing him as a public servant who understands the urgency of restoring public trust in railway transportation. Many Nigerians are hopeful that trains will soon return to the tracks, easing travel stress and reducing overdependence on road transport.
This rearrangement follows the logical progression of events, from the current situation (Nigerians awaiting train services) to the actions being taken (Dr. Opeifa supervising repairs) to the expected outcome (trains resuming operations).
