An Active member of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ FCT Council, who works for Liberty TV as Sports anchorman, Comrade Odion Musa rolled back the years as he won 1-Gold and 1-Bronze medal at the just concluded Nigerian Athletics Masters Championship in Abuja.
The former Edo State athlete beat off competitions from representatives of military and civilian organisations like the Nigeria Army, Navy, Air Force, Immigration, Media houses and others, as he won Gold medal in the 110 meters Hurdles M35 event.
He also proved his versatility in the 4 × 100m Relay Final, helping his team to a Bronze medal.
As a sports all-rounder, Comrade Odion Musa is the Captain of the NUJ football team, a table tennis player and a vibrant member of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN)
Odion’s professionalism extends beyond sports and news writing, he is also a strong advocate of Integrity. He is the Vice-Chairman of the Sports Integrity Foundation.
The maiden championship hosted former Nigeria champions such as Mike Monye, Tich International athletes from Poland, as well as other established athletic stars.
