NUJ FCT Mourns Demise of Former Chairman, Comrade Patrick Osadebamwen

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), FCT Council, has expressed sadness over the death of its former Chairman, Comrade Patrick Osadebamwen.

In a statement issued in Abuja on Saturday by the Secretary of the Council, Comrade Jide Oyekunle, the Council said it received the news of his passing with sadness, following confirmation from his friends.

Comrade Osadebamwen worked with the Union Newspaper, Core TV, The Nigerian Tribune, Kaftan TV before joining Interceptng.com an online news platform.
He also served as Chairman of the NUJ FCT Council.

Late Patrick hailed from Ekiadolor Ovia Southwest area of Edo State and he is survived by three children.

The NUJ FCT Council extends its condolences to his family, colleagues, friends and associates, and prays that God will grant them the strength to bear the loss.

The Council also calls on members of the Union to remember the family in their prayers and pray for the repose of his soul as plans for the burial arrangements are underway.
