Senator Anyanwu in Shock Over Death of Journalist, Ajibade, Condoles with NUJ, Deceased Family
Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu has expressed shock over the news of the sudden demise of an Imo based Journalist, Awofeso Praise Ajibade who reportedly died in his sleep over the weekend.
Late Ajibade was the Southeast Correspondent of Galaxy Television and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Prudent MStv, an online news medium respectively. He was a core professional in the field of journalism, an entrepreneur who assisted his colleagues especially, photographers and videographers to secure jobs in television stations.
Anyanwu, while describing late Ajibade as a meticulous, dedicated and upright person, said that his sense of humor and adherence to the ethical standards of journalism was second to none.
“Late Ajibade genuinely covered activities and programmes of our campaign Organization during the 2023 Governorship election. He gave his best and projected our image leading to overwhelming supports we got across board.
He will be hugely missed! My prayer goes to his family and his colleagues who are deeply touched in this grieving moment!. On behalf of my family and members of my political group, Divine Mandate Movement (DMM), I most heartily sympathize with the family”
He further condoled with members of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) and Ajibade’s family for losing such a young man with great prospects in life.
While urging his wife, children and those he left behind to take solace in the Lord, Anyanwu therefore prayed God to give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
