The Chairman commended governor Kefas for prioritizing teacher’s welfare in the state.

“I appreciated the primary school’s teachers for their patience.

He attributed the delay in the payments of the salary to a network glitch from the bank.

“The union leadership has agreed that cheque be issued to the directors of finance of the remaining local government areas, whose primary school teachers were yet to be paid to ease the payment process.

The Chairman also commended the efforts of the Commissioner of Education, Doctor Augustina Godwin and the Acting Chairperson of Taraba State Universal Basic Education Board, (SUBEB), Mrs Rabi Sunday for working tirelessly to ensure teachers receive their salaries.
