The Yasha Place Worship Centre officially commenced worship activities with its inaugural service, marking a significant milestone in its mission of spiritual growth, community development, and family empowerment.

Speaking during the inaugural service, the Lead Pastor, Pastor Kekung, congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of Democracy Day, commending citizens for their resilience, perseverance, and enduring faith in the nation’s democratic journey despite prevailing socio-economic challenges.

According to him, while governments at all levels have important roles to play in creating an enabling environment for growth and development, individuals and families must also take deliberate steps toward improving their economic well-being.

Pastor Kekung emphasized the importance of wealth creation, entrepreneurship, skills acquisition, and education as essential tools for breaking the cycle of poverty and building stronger families and communities.

“As Nigerians reflect on the gains and challenges of democracy, we must also be intentional about improving our personal and family circumstances. Wealth creation, education, hard work, and prudent management of resources remain critical pathways to sustainable development and family stability,” he said.

He urged parents and guardians to prioritize the education of their children and wards, noting that education remains one of the most effective means of empowering future generations and creating opportunities for long-term prosperity.

The cleric also encouraged Nigerians to embrace values such as diligence, integrity, innovation, and self-reliance, stressing that national development requires the collective efforts of government, the private sector, faith-based organizations, and citizens.

Commenting on the state of the nation, Pastor Kekung acknowledged ongoing efforts by the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in addressing national challenges and implementing reforms aimed at economic growth and development. He, however, noted that there remains room for further improvement in areas that directly impact the welfare and livelihoods of Nigerians.

He expressed optimism that with continued commitment, constructive engagement, and collaboration among stakeholders, the country would overcome its challenges and achieve greater progress.

The inaugural service attracted members of the congregation, community leaders, friends of the ministry, and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate the formal opening of The Yasha Place Worship Centre.

Pastor Kekung reaffirmed the church’s commitment to promoting spiritual development, family values, community service, and initiatives that contribute to the social and economic empowerment of individuals and families.
