My dear brothers and sisters,
I write to you today not with political rhetoric or religious dogma, but with a mother’s concerned heart and a citizen’s earnest appeal. My womb trembles. My spirit groans. I weep for Nigeria. I weep for our innocent children.

In recent weeks, our nation has witnessed disturbing reports of kidnappings and other security challenges affecting families and communities across the country. Each incident is a painful reminder of the need for greater vigilance, stronger community cooperation, and renewed commitment to the protection of our children.
No child should live in fear. No parent should have to endure the anguish of not knowing whether their son or daughter is safe. The safety and well-being of our children must remain a shared national responsibility that rises above politics, religion, ethnicity, and social differences.
At this critical moment, I call on all Nigerians to unite in support of peace, security, and the protection of our young people. Rather than assigning blame, let us focus our collective energy on finding solutions, supporting law enforcement efforts, strengthening community networks, and creating safer environments for our children to grow and thrive.
To our political leaders, religious leaders, traditional rulers, security agencies, civil society organizations, and the media, I urge renewed collaboration in addressing the security concerns facing our nation. The lives and futures of our children must always come first.
And to every mother, father, guardian, and concerned citizen: remain vigilant, speak up when you observe suspicious activity, support community safety initiatives, and look out for one another. Together, we can build stronger and safer communities for all.
Our children are our greatest treasure. Their future is Nigeria’s future. Let us work together to protect them.
May God bless our children, guide our leaders, and grant peace and security to our nation.
