Weekenders Media Commercial Limited, publishers of Weekenders Magazine, has congratulated the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), FCT Council, Comrade Grace Ike, fondly known as “The Stallion,” on her well-deserved recognition as the recipient of the 2026 Silent Heroes Award in Management.
In a congratulatory message, the Executive Director of Weekenders Media Commercial Limited, Princess Joy Omagha Idam, described the award as a fitting recognition of Comrade Ike’s outstanding leadership, dedication to service and unwavering commitment to advancing journalism and the welfare of media professionals.

Princess Idam further described the NUJ FCT Chairman as a shining example of resilient and transformational leadership, adding that her achievements have earned her the admiration and respect of colleagues, stakeholders and members of the media community.
“The Stallion has continued to redefine leadership through hard work, integrity and an unwavering commitment to service. Her ability to unite people, champion journalists’ welfare and uphold the ethics of the profession has made her a worthy recipient of this prestigious award,” she added.
