The President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Ebonyi State Chapter, Dr. Peter Obasi Mbam has urged Christians while celebrating Christmas to treat others as they would like to be treated and to share love with everyone.
Mbam, in a goodwill message, noted that the yuletide season is for pure love and care, which the people should imbibe.

He urged Christians to care for one another. He also encouraged the youth to avoid actions that could disrupt law and order in their community.
He said “Ohanaeze Ndigbo Extends warm wishes to the number one citizen of Ebonyi State, Prince Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, and his family, as well as to all Christian brothers and sisters in Ebonyi State and throughout Nigeria, for a joyful celebration of Christmas.
“The yuletide season commemorates the good, precious, and pure ideals that we share.
“I encourage each of us to embrace the spirit of joy during this beautiful season as we celebrate the birth of Christ.
“Let us remember that the essence of Christmas is to be our brother’s and sister’s keeper. We should treat others as we would like to be treated and share our love with everyone around us.
“I hope this Christmas serves as a reminder of these values, which we should uphold even after the celebrations.
“Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Ebonyi State Chapter, also expresses sympathy for the families affected by the tragedy that occurred in Okija, Anambra State, on Saturday, December 21, 2024.
May their souls rest in peace. Amen.” Mbam prayed.
“Once again, I wish you all a merry and joyful Christmas celebration and a prosperous new year.”
