Anyanwu Calls for Unity in Imo PDP, Urges Aggrieved Persons to Shelve Sword
In line with the resolution of the PDP NEC to work towards a genuine reconciliation, National Secretary of the party, Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu has called on all PDP members in Imo state to unite together for the tasks ahead.
According to him, in ensuring that peace reigns, all aggrieved persons should shelve their swords and embrace genuine reconciliation, unity and tranquility now that the window for dialogue is open for everyone.
He maintains that through unity and oneness, PDP will be willing to cooperate with any stakeholder of the party to achieve his or her political dreams, and warns against any act capable of dividing the party at all levels.
Anyanwu, who is the candidate of PDP in the last Governorship election in Imo state further assures that PDP will not hesitate to sanction any member directly or indirectly involved in anti-party activity either now or in the past.
While pleading with Engr Chidi Dike’s led PDP in Imo state to eschew rancour, acrimony and division, urged him to play an open door leadership that will embrace every genuine member to guarantee lasting peace, unity and development.
