May I, on behalf of my dear family and the loving people of Ebonyi South Senatorial District, join other members of our great party, the APC, friends and associates in rejoicing with my brother and friend, Rt Hon. Darlington Okereke, as he marks his birthday today, Sunday, August 11, 2024.
Rt Hon. Okereke is a man of many parts and bundle of energy, as he has demonstrated in his remarkable productive public life.
His record of services as the erstwhile Chairman, Ebonyi State Universal Education Board; former Honourable Member of the House of Representatives (Onicha/Ohaozara/Ivo Federal Constituency) and Federal Commissioner (National Population Commission), and currently as a Member of the Governing Council of the Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu Alike-Ikwo, Ebonyi State, are quite staggering and exemplary.
More so, his dedication to the welfare and prosperity of all is truly commendable, and his visionary approach has set a positive trajectory for our younger generation.
Therefore, on this momentous occasion of his life achievements, I pray God Almighty to grant him long life and good health to continue his laudable service to the people of our Senatorial District, Ebonyi State and Nigeria at large.
