The exercise, held at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja, attracted a large turnout of delegates and party faithful who gathered to witness the emergence of the party’s flag bearers.

The primaries were presided over by the party’s National Woman Leader, Mrs. Blessing Bilkisu Ocheja, who commended delegates for their orderly conduct and commitment to the democratic process.

At the end of the exercise, Chigozie Eze Anolue emerged unopposed as the Democratic Leadership Alliance candidate for the AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives.

Speaking shortly after being declared winner, Anolue expressed appreciation to party members for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to champion policies that would improve the lives of constituents.

He identified youth empowerment and security as key priorities of his legislative agenda, stressing the need for practical solutions to unemployment and insecurity.

According to him, his vision includes promoting inclusive economic growth through innovation, agribusiness development, support for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), cooperative societies and public-private partnerships.

He also pledged to advocate policies aimed at eliminating systemic inequalities and promoting social justice across ethnic, religious and economic divides.

Anolue further emphasized the importance of empowering young people and women through quality education, political inclusion and equitable distribution of resources.

The party also produced other candidates, including Methuselah Gallio Atonge, who emerged as the flag bearer for the Gwagwalada/Kuje/Kwali/Abaji Federal Constituency.

Party officials described the primaries as peaceful, transparent and credible, noting that the process was conducted without any incidents.

Speaking at the close of the exercise, party leaders expressed confidence in the calibre of candidates produced and reiterated the Democratic Leadership Alliance’s commitment to offering Nigerians an alternative platform built on good governance, accountability and inclusive development.

They maintained that the party is poised to make a significant impact in future elections, expressing optimism that its candidates and policies would resonate with voters across the country.
