Edati Leaders Rally Support for Kpautagi As APC Candidate, Continues Stakeholders’ Engagement

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Lavun, Mokwa and Edati Federal Constituency, Honourable Adamu Suleiman Kpautagi, has continued his stakeholder engagement across Edati Local Government Area, receiving prayers, royal blessings and assurances of support from traditional, political and religious leaders.

Kpautagi and members of his campaign team commenced the engagements with a courtesy visit to the palace of the Bima of Edati, Malam Yusuf Muhammad Edati, where he presented his aspirations and sought the monarch’s guidance and blessings ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The traditional ruler prayed for Kpautagi’s success and reminded him that leadership is ordained by Almighty Allah. He urged the APC candidate to remain focused, disciplined and committed to a peaceful political process.

Malam Yusuf Muhammad also advised Kpautagi to remain faithful to his promises and commitments to the people, stressing that any mandate entrusted to him should be anchored on humility, accessibility and service.

He further cautioned the candidate against rumours, provocations and unnecessary conflicts, urging him to pursue his political ambition with patience, maturity and a commitment to unity.

The delegation also paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of Edati Local Government Council, Honourable Conel Usman Adamu Ndana, where appreciation was expressed to the people of the area for their support.

The council chairman prayed for Kpautagi’s success in 2027, Insha Allah, and advised him to extend a hand of fellowship to other aspirants who contested the APC primary election with him, saying such a gesture would promote peace, unity and collective progress within the party.

At the APC Local Government Party Office, the delegation was received by the party chairman, Honourable Ndagana Ladan, alongside other party leaders and members.

The Director-General of the campaign, Honourable Abbas Sani, described the visit as an appreciation and thank-you engagement to the APC family for its contributions to Kpautagi’s emergence as the party’s flag bearer.

He called for continued unity among party members and urged them to sustain their support for the candidate as the party prepares for the 2027 election.

Kpautagi later visited the Chief Imam of Edati, Malam Adamu Abubakar, where he sought spiritual guidance and prayers for a peaceful and successful political journey.

The Chief Imam prayed for divine wisdom, protection and success for Kpautagi, while urging political actors to uphold peace and promote unity throughout the electoral process.

The series of engagements further highlighted Kpautagi’s emphasis on grassroots consultation and his commitment to maintaining cordial relationships with traditional, religious and political institutions across the federal constituency.
