FEDOSIA Congratulates Hon Tunji Ojo and Hon Olawande Wisdom for being Retained in the Recent Cabinet Reshuffle

…Commends President Tinubu On the Establishment of the Ministry of Regional Development

The Federation of Ondo State Indigenes in Abuja (FEDOSIA), the umbrella body of all Ondo state indigenes and societies in Abuja and its environ has congratulated Hon Bunmi Tunji Ojo for being retained as the Minister of Interior and Hon Ayodele Olawande Wisdom for being elevated to the status of a substantive Minister in the Ministry of Youth Development by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the recent cabinet reshuffle.

It will be recalled that Hon Bunmi Tunji Ojo was appointed Minister of Interior from the inception of this administration in 2023, and where he has carried out a series of reforms in the Ministry to the admiration of all Nigerians and the Presidency. Also, Hon Ayo Olawande Wisdom served meritoriously as Minister of State before his elevation to the status of a substantive Minister in the same Ministry.

It is commendable that the two Ministers from Ondo State in this administration have made us proud in the ways they have brought innovations & carried out total reforms in the two Ministries under their administrations.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu retained these Ministers during a cabinet reshuffle conducted on Thursday, which he characterized as essential for the government’s reform agenda and a cost-reduction initiative aimed at revitalizing the struggling economy.

Hon. Dipo Akinsol, the Chairman of the Steering Committee of FEDOSI, expressed that he was not surprised by the achievements of the two since they are determined individuals who have distinguished themselves as highly effective Ministers since their appointments in 2023.

Hon. Dipo Akinsola also commended and expressed his gratitude to President Tinubu for recognizing the untapped potential of these individuals asa dynamicunderdogsg, highlighting their proven capabilities as experienced leaders who are well-equipped to serve in the capacity of Ministers in this administration.

Advising the duo, FEDOSIA urged the representatives of the State as Ministers in the federal cabinet to enhance their efforts and strengthen the trust and confidence President Tinubu has placed in them, which has contributed to their continued presence and elevation in the cabinet following the recent reshuffling.

Hon. Dipo Akinsola emphasized that their appointments and contributions to this administration have brought pride to Ondo State. He expressed his hopes and confidence for their ongoing achievements, stating that the State expects exemplary performance from both individuals in the current economic reforms initiated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He encouraged them to leverage their expertise to add significant value to the development of both Ondo State and Nigeria at large.

“The State wants the best from both of you in the ongoing economic reform of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We are encouraging both of you to deploy the expertise in you and add the expected values for which you are known to the development of Nigeria and that of Ondo State.

Hon. Dipo Akinsola reiterated gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his support and confidence in the people of Ondo State, wishing him the success of his administration in advancing the interests of the Nigerian state and its citizens.

“Once again, we thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his love and confidence in our people as we wish his administration success for the progress of the Nigerian state and the people,” FEDOSIA stresses.

The body also commends President Tinubu on the Creation of the Ministry of Regional Development to supervise all regional Commissions established as intervention bodies to bring development to the grassroots in the 6 geopolitical zones in Nigeria, describing it as a prudence measure to cut costs of governance and wish the administration well in piloting the affairs of the country.
