The Bishop of The Crown of Life Bible Church House of David INC. Rt. Rev Dr Innocent Rubiruka Solomon has expressed satisfaction with the visionary and pragmatic steps so far taken by the Executive Governor of Taraba State, Dr Kefas Agbu in piloting the affairs of the state.
He stated this in an exclusive interview with our Correspondent in his residence in Jalingo, the Taraba state capital.
“The Governor in the true sense of the word has demonstrated capacity and a very good understanding of the issues of the state and has truly come down to the level of the people in order to provide the needed leadership in view of the critical economic, social and infrastructural difficulties faced by the state at the moment.
“It is not in doubt that Taraba which is crescent the Nature’s gift to the nation is one of the most endowed in terms of natural resources, agriculturally viable lands, unspeakably rich tourism potentials and above all a vibrant population that can provide all the human capital required for a state like Taraba state that is grossly underdeveloped to meet up with any modern state in the world given the quality, pragmatic and down to earth leadership we are beginning to see in H.E Dr Kefas Agbu.
The Bishop who is the current Vice Chairman of the North East Zonal Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (C.A.N) maintains that there is no doubt that H.E has understood the terrain, the challenges and the deep burden that lies in the responsibility of providing political governance to the people of Taraba State hence the resolve and the speed with which his administration is prepared to tackle the issues.
He appealed to the ruling party in the state the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to quickly move towards the peaceful resolution of her internal crisis and leadership tussle in order to create the necessary and conducive atmosphere for smooth governance.
“With the signs of welcome and enthusiasm the people of Taraba are clearly showing in their response to the efforts of the Governor so far, I only wish to encourage the Governor to maintain the tempo and prove that the overwhelming mandate of Tarabans is not misplaced – he said.
