Determined Young Nigerian journalist Livinus Chibuike Victor has launched another attempt to break the record for the Longest Interviewing Marathon, aiming for an impressive 72 hours and 30 seconds. Starting on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the Tangier Hotel in Utako, Abuja, the marathon is set to conclude on October 1, 2025.

After facing technical issues, in the first attempt, Victor is redoubling his efforts, expressing optimism about setting a new record. This endeavor not only showcases his interviewing prowess but also highlights his commitment to promoting press freedom and quality journalism. So far he has interviewed 12 Guests.

The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) FCT Council, Comrade Grace Ike, commended Victor for his resilience and dedication to the field. Represented by Assistant Secretary Comrade Sharon Emephia, Ike encouraged Victor to continue being a beacon of hope for journalists across Africa, championing press freedom, and advocating for the rights of journalists to carry out their constitutional duties.
