The Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has expressed heartfelt condolence to the immediate family and members of the Medical Community over the passing away of late Dr. Habibu Sadauki who died yesterday following an illness.
This was contained in a Statement made available to newsmen by the Governor’s Spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa in Kano.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf described the death of Dr. Habibu Sadauki as a monumental loss in view of his contributions to the development of health care services in Kano State, Nigeria and beyond.
He also noted the immense contributions of the deceased to the health care policy as one-time Executive Secretary, Kano State Hospitals Management Board and immediate past president of the Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics of Nigeria (SOGON).
” We received with the deepest shock the news of death of Dr. Sadauki, a medical practitioner of international repute who impacted on lives of many women as an experienced and hard-working Gynecologist”.
“On behalf of the government and good people of Kano State, I extend condolences to his families, members of the medical community, may Allah SWT grant him eternal rest and Jannatul Firdausi be his final abode.” Prayed the governor”.
