Kebbi : Gov Idris distributes Ambulances to hospitals, Vehicles to Ministries

In a bid to boost the Healthcare Sector, the Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris has distributed ambulances to General Hospitals across the state for smooth operation in the health sector.

The governor also donated some Operational vehicles to School of Nursing, Government House Press Crew and some ministries in the state. This was contained in a Press Release issued by the Chief Press Secretary to Kebbi State Governor, Ahmed Idris

Speaking while handing over the vehicles at Government House, Birnin Kebbi, Gov. Nasir Idris said the essence of donating the vehicles was to ease transportation hardship and facilitate good governance.

He appealed to the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the vehicles to achieve the objectives they were meant for. The governor reiterated his administration’s commitment to improve the quality of lives of the citizenry.

Gov. Idris therefore canvassed for more support and cooperation from all and sundry to enable him successfully deliver the desired dividends of democracy to the door steps of the electorate.

The hospitals that benefited from the ambulance gesture included; Sir Yahaya Memorial Hospital, Birnin Kebbi, Teaching Hospital, Kalgo, General Hospital, Argungu, General Hospital, Yauri, General Hospital, Zuru, General Hospital Jega and General Hospital, Bunza.

Others that received vehicles included; Government House Press Crew, Chairman Board of Internal Revenue, Ministry of Women Affairs, Ministry of Justice and School of Nursing, Birnin Kebbi, while an APC chieftain, Isma’ila Mabo also donated another vehicle to the school.

Responding on behalf of the press Crew, the Chief Press Secretary to Kebbi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Idris lauded his principal for the gesture.

The governor’s aide assured that the vehicle would be put to optimal use to achieve the intended purposes of the donation.
