The Management and Staff of Niger Foods have congratulated the Executive Governor of Niger State, Mohammed Umaru Bago, on the occasion of his third anniversary in office.
In a statement issued on Friday , the company commended Governor Bago’s “Farmer Governor” vision, describing it as a transformative agenda that has repositioned agriculture from subsistence farming to a major economic driver in Niger State.
According to the statement, the administration’s investments in large scale mechanization, irrigation projects, and support for farmers across the agricultural value chain have strengthened Niger State’s position as a leading hub for food production and agribusiness in Nigeria.
Niger Foods stated that it remains proud to align with the governor’s agenda of food security, job creation, and rural development, noting that his commitment to creating an enabling environment for investment in agriculture and agro-processing has opened new opportunities for growth, innovation, and partnership within the sector.
The company further praised Governor Bago’s leadership, resilience, and dedication to the development of the state, expressing optimism that his administration would continue to record significant achievements in its drive to make Niger State the food basket of the nation.
