The Grace Ike Campaign Council (GICC) has ended its week-long chapel to chapel campaigns with the thunderous endorsement of the Grace Ike team by the notable Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) Chapel.
It would be recalled that the NUJ FCT Council Election will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at the council Secretariat in Utako-Abuja. And according to the election timetable, all campaign activities end on Monday December 2, 2024.
During the campaign tour to FCDA Chapel, Grace Ike and other members of her team were presented to members of the chapel.
Comrade Grace Ike in her remarks, stated that her team and her would focus on welfare, professionalism, accountability, transparency, training, inclusivity, and development of the council Secretariat. She added that the team will give attention to the health of members, to which end it would introduce health insurance and also establish a Journalists’ village for members to have their dream home.
Earlier, the DG of the campaign council, Comrade Prof Philip Nyam while presenting Comrade Grace for Chairman, Comrade Yahaya Ndambabo, Comrade Jide Oyekunle and Comrade Sandra Udeike for Treasurer stated that the One Voice New Era team will not fail members of the Union, saying they are tested and trusted.
While endorsing the Comrade Grace Ike team, leadership of the FCDA Chapel promised it would mobilise her members for the December 4, 2024 election.
Highpoints of the campaign was the presentation of campaign materials including posters, face caps, t-shirts and brochures to the leadership and members of the chapel.
