Nigeria @ 66: PIWYODI President, Martha Onadeko, Hails Nigerians, Urges Good Conduct, Support for Good Governance

As Nigeria celebrates her 66th Independence Anniversary, the National President of the Positive Impact for Women and Youth Development Initiative (PIWYODI), Mrs. Martha EA Onadeko, has felicitated with Nigerians at home and in the diaspora, urging citizens to remain hopeful, responsible and committed to the development of the country.

In her Independence Day message, Mrs. Onadeko congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of Nigeria @ 66, calling on women, youths and citizens across the country to place their trust in God and continue to contribute positively to national development.

She urged Nigerians to maintain good conduct, embrace positive values and uphold moral uprightness, stressing that responsible citizenship remains essential to achieving peace, unity and sustainable development.

The PIWYODI President also called on Nigerians to support good governance at all levels, noting that citizens and government have complementary roles to play in building a peaceful, prosperous and united nation.

According to her, Nigeria at 66 still has every reason to remain hopeful, adding that the country’s diversity and human resources provide a strong foundation for a better future.

Mrs. Onadeko particularly highlighted the important role of women and youths in national development, urging them to remain actively involved in initiatives that promote peace, economic empowerment, social development and national unity.

She further called on Nigerians to believe in the country, support legitimate government efforts and work collectively towards creating a better future for present and future generations.

The PIWYODI President expressed optimism that with responsible leadership, active citizenship, unity and continued reliance on God, Nigeria can overcome its challenges and achieve greater progress.

She wished Nigerians a peaceful and prosperous 66th Independence Anniversary, while reaffirming PIWYODI’s commitment to initiatives that promote the welfare and development of women and youths.
