I heartily congratulate all Muslim faithful across Nigeria and beyond as you celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir, a season that symbolizes sacrifice, faith, obedience, love, and devotion to God.
I deeply appreciate the spiritual significance of this holy festival and the enduring values it represents for humanity. Eid-el-Kabir reminds us all Muslims and Christians alike the importance of sacrifice, compassion, tolerance, unity, and service to one another.
As our Muslim brothers and sisters celebrate, I pray that Almighty Allah grants peace, joy, good health, and abundant blessings to every family, and continues to strengthen our nation with harmony and progress.
This period also calls for sober reflection by every Nigerian, regardless of religion or ethnicity, on the urgent need to preserve our unity and promote peaceful coexistence. Nigeria can only achieve greatness when we see ourselves first as one people with a shared destiny.
I therefore encourage all Nigerians, whether Christians, Muslims, and people of other faiths to continue supporting efforts geared towards national unity, peace, and development, while joining hands with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda for a more prosperous, secure, and inclusive Nigeria.
At this critical time in our nation’s history, let us reject division, hatred, and intolerance, and instead embrace love, understanding, and patriotism in the spirit of One Nigeria.
May this Eid-el-Kabir celebration renew hope in our hearts and strengthen the bond of unity among all Nigerians.
