The Governor of Ebonyi State, Rt, Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has officially flagged off the Distribution of Agricultural Inputs for The 2025 farming season for the Local farmers of Abakaliki, across The Local Governments.
This initiative underscores His administration’s commitment of supporting farmers for the enhancement of The State’s Economic system, and promotion of Agricultural productivity in line with His People’s Charter of Needs Agenda.
The Executive Chairman Abakaliki Local Government Area, Hon. Ebere Nwogba made this open commendation with Radio Nigeria during a live phoning interactive section, emphasizing that the distributed inputs was designed to equip farmers with the necessary tools and resources to aid the increment of food production in the state.
Hon. Ebere Nwogba added that the flag-off event was aimed to equip farmers with new improved farming techniques so to ensure that the distributed inputs are utilized efficiently.
He Thanked Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, for his unwavering support towards the farming community, highlighting the collaborative effort of Hon. Uchenna Igwe, The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters. The Commissioner for Agriculture, Princess Nkechinyere Inyioku. His Royal Highness, Eze Sunday Nkwoagu Oketa with Other stakeholders in ensuring that the agricultural inputs got to the targeted rural farmers, and making sure the intended beneficiaries received crucial support.
