WHPI Collaboration with W4W Trains Female CEOs on Protocols in Organization Development

The Women Housing Plan Initiative (WHPI) in Collaboration with the FCT Women for Women has trained no fewer than 25 female Chief Executives on Protocols in Running Organization in order not to fall short of regulations to compete favourably with male counterparts.

The theme for the Training “Step Down Training on Organization Development Solutions for the Women4Women”. The essence of the training according to Hajia Binta Ibrahim, the President and Founder WHPI, who is also the Chairperson FCT Women4Women, said the goal is “to assist organisations run by women check critical elements in their organizations that help them remain effective in management”. She appreciated the Partners and resource persons.

The Training was a whole days event, in a serene environment the Conference Hall of DEERFIELDS International Academy,Apo, the Trainers Dr Mavis Robinson put the CEOs through ” The Concept of Organization development and its cycle”, and “The Organization Capacity Assessment Tools”. It was a participatory training where participants made contributions and shared experience.

Dr Ejike Oji, the President and Founder Community Development Foundation, an experienced doctor with a demonstrated history of working in the health wellness and fitness industry, Trained on the ” Simplified OCA Tools including the Capacity Areas”, How to ” Develop a Capacity Building Action Plan” and Presentation on Preventable Cancers in Women” knowledge gathered was worth the time spent.

Speaking to one of the Participants, Rtr Evelyn Onyilo, Former President Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, who is also the President and Founder INWOAD, she stated that armed with the knowledge gathered at the training she was set to reposition and do things differently at INWOAD an organization with offices across the Country. She appreciated the organisers of the training for putting it together.

Participants rose from the training with a new zeal and awakening to do things differently in order to reposition their organizations ahead of business openings and grants this 2024. NGOs putting their house in Order was the basic focus (Organizational Development) which is key to gain recognition, grants, etc.
