It was fun feelings when family, friends, colleagues and members of the Rotary Club of Abuja Sapphire, District 9125 Abuja, Nigeria, in collaboration with Tomorrow’s Women Development Organization, (TWDO) gathered to celebrate the President, Rtr Hon. Chinyere Ezenwokike, who is the Founder/Chairperson, TWDO, and Executive Director Devine Gold Global Consult Ltd and President Rotary club of Abuja Sapphire District 9125 Abuja FCT Nigeria, as she marked her birthday with a massive give away of ankaras and other items in a project tagged “An Evening With Madam President”.
Venue for the event was a garden at Apo, District of Abuja, the chosen host community to impact this 2024. Members of Rotary of Rotary Club of Abuja Sapphire, District 9125, FCT Nigeria, friends, family and the beneficiaries (widows) gathered.
One of the widows who benefited but chose to be anonymous told Weekenders magazine that “my joy knew no bounds. I cannot remember the last time i counted my money to buy a wrapper. But here im today with a beautiful wrapper and other gifts. May God bless Hon Chi Chi beyond measures and grant her all her heart desires”.
The high point of the Event was dance, entertainment, photo sessions and eating, wining and dining to the glory of God.
The President and Founder of TWDO, Hon Chi Chi told Weekenders that doing charity especially for widows has become part of her as she cannot do without blessing this special group of the society.
According to the President Rotary Club of Abuja Sapphire, District 9125 said “Most people give to Orphanage Homes and Senior Citizens, but forget widows, that explains why I chose to make them smile whenever I can. I encourage everyone to remember widows” she concluded.
