Wike’s Daughter, Jazmyne, Bags Second Class Upper In Law

Jazmyne, the daughter of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree with Upper Second-Class Honours from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom.

The graduation ceremony which held on Wednesday 22nd July 2026, attracted several prominent political figures from across Nigeria, who joined Wike and his wife, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Wike, to celebrate the milestone.

According to a post on Facebook by the FCT Minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, those in attendance included the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

Others are, Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa; PDP chieftain, Prof. Sandy Onor; PDP Deputy National Chairman (South), Aaron Chukwuemeka; and other notable personalities.

Also present were the Executive Director of Projects, South South Development Commission, Hon. Marcus Nle Ejii; the member representing Ahoada West/Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Victor Obuzor; publisher of ThisNigeria Newspaper, Eric Osagie, and several other dignitaries.

The ceremony marked a significant academic achievement for Jazmyne and was attended by family, friends and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate her successful completion of legal studies at the prestigious British university.
