We are thrilled to announce that the stranded Nigerian workers in the Central African Republic have been successfully rescued and are currently in the safe custody of the Embassy of Nigeria in Bangui.

We would like to extend our heartfelt commendation to the Hon Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb Maitama Tuggar, who swung into action the staff of the Embassy of Nigeria in Bangui for their tireless efforts and dedication to ensuring the safe rescue of our citizens. Their professionalism and commitment to duty are truly commendable.

Appreciation to the Government of Central African Republic
We also wish to express our sincere appreciation to the Government of the Central African Republic for their collaboration and support in facilitating the successful rescue operation. Their assistance and cooperation have been invaluable in bringing our citizens to safety.
Relief for the Rescued Workers
We are relieved that the rescued workers are now safe and sound in the custody of the Embassy. We will continue to provide them with necessary assistance and support to ensure their well-being and safe return to Nigeria.

This successful rescue operation is a testament to the effectiveness of our diplomatic efforts and the commitment of our Embassy staff to protecting the interests of Nigerian citizens abroad. We are proud of their work and grateful for their dedication.
