Highstone Global University USA, Confers honorary doctorate awards to five distinguish Nigerians at University of Lagos

Highstone Global University, Texas, USA has revealed how the institution is making impact across Africa and Nigeria in particular.
The Africa Vice Chancellor of the school, Amb. Prof. Ap. Valentine Iheukwumere made this disclosure at the occasion of the Leadtimes Magazine/ Highstone Global University award ceremony/ workshop which took place at the University of Lagos guest House on Saturday.
Professor Iheukwumere who led the delegation of the school to the occasion noted specifically that the scholarship scheme introduced by the University has contributed tremendously to the development of individual citizens of the states of the Nation.
He said further, “This is because Highstone Global University, Texas, believes when an individual is educated, a whole family has been educated. When a family is educated in our scholarships, a community has been educated. When a community is educated, a State is educated. And so it flow to the Nation.
Meanwhile, at the occasion, the University conferred doctorates awards to five distinguish Nigerians and the recipients were, Eleso Damilola Moyosore, Doctor of Communication and Creative Arts( Honoris Causa), Akinola Julius Akinsola, Doctor of Business Administration,(Honoris Causa), and Lami Onayi Ahmed, Doctor of Business Administration ((Honoris Causa).
The rest are Shaka Ovie Ernest, Doctor of Business Administration,(Honoris Causa) and Atanda Olabisi Shukurat, Doctor of Integrative Medicine.
Also at the occasion, the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Trade and Tech Group, Engr. Abubakar Sadiq Mustapha took home the 2023 edition of the prestigious Leadtimes Africa Magazine Businessman of the Year award.
And according to the Advisory Board Chairman of Leadtimes Africa Magazine, Professor Buba S. Mshelia, Engr Mustapha was chosen due to his pragmatic leadership disposition and his global business activities over the years.
Professor Mshelia noted in an earlier statement that Mustapha emerged the best choice “following his pragmatic leadership disposition and his global business activities over the years which has affected the lives of the Nigerian youths positively, especially those in the northern part of Nigeria; his business activities have touched many lives and has further reduced the unemployment rates in Nigeria.” the statement concluded.
