Niger Assembly Clerk affirm Commitment with ARC P

The clerk Niger state House of Assembly Mall Farouq Umar Isah has reaffirmed its committement to partner with stakeholders, particularly with at Risk Children Programme (ARC-P) in the state.

The clerk affirmed to this when he received officials of Niger State At- Risk Children Programme (ARC-P), on an advocacy visit to his office at the Assembly Complex, Minna.

Farouq Umar Commended the Team of the At- Risk Children Programme (ARC-P) for their plans saying, this laudable programme will be of immense benefits to state.

He assured the team of the Legislative support enabling them actualized their goals and aligning with Governor New Niger Agenda, focusing on Health, Education and Agriculture.

Earlier, the State Team Leader and Coordinator of ARC-P Aisha Umar Tafida said her team is to advocate while using the opportunity to intimate him of the activities of the ARC-P and to seek for support of the assembly.

She appreciated the Clerk for the warm reception accorded to them and also congratulated him on his new appointment, wishing him well in his new assignment, adding that the programme will ensure the integration of Children and young adult by creating opportunities for skills and employment to reduce their Vulnerabilities thereby enabling them to compete with other advantaged Children across the globe.

Aisha Umar Tafida highlighted seven pillars of the At-Risk Children Programme (ARC-P) which includes

Basic Literacy and Numeracy ( Education), Health and Nutrition, Agriculture and Climate Change, Entrepreneurial, Financial Literacy, Digital Skills and Creativity, Sport and life skills and Incentivisation / Intervention, respectively.
