NIS, BODYLINE FITNESS and GYM SET For Abuja FITLIFE ’26

The National Institute for Sports (NIS), in collaboration with Bodyline Fitness & Gym, is set to host Abuja Fitlife ’26, a fitness and sporting event designed to promote physical activity, healthy living and a stronger fitness culture among residents and sports enthusiasts.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, November 28, 2026, at the Velodrome, National Stadium, Abuja. It will bring together fitness enthusiasts, athletes and members of the public for a series of competitive and recreational activities.

According to the event programme, participants will compete in a Half Marathon, 5KM Charity Walk, Abuja Fittest Challenge, Abuja Strongest Challenge and Cycling Competition. The range of activities is expected to provide opportunities for participants with different fitness interests and abilities to take part.

The event also carries the theme “Creating a Fit Culture,” highlighting the importance of regular physical activity and fitness as part of everyday life. Beyond competition, the inclusion of a charity walk gives the programme a social dimension, while the cycling and strength-based challenges provide platforms for participants to test their endurance, strength and overall fitness.

Registration for the event is scheduled to open on October 1 and close on October 31, 2026. Interested participants are encouraged to register through the official event platform at www.abujafitlife.com.

The Abuja Fitlife ’26 initiative further reflects the growing emphasis on fitness, wellness and active lifestyles, while providing a platform for the NIS and its partners to engage the public through sports and physical activity.
