President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured Nigerians that his administration will continue to invest in infrastructure and economic development until the benefits of its ongoing reforms are felt in every home across the country.
President Tinubu gave the assurance while commissioning the Access Roads, Power and Water Supply to the Informal Sector Layout in Wasa District, Abuja.

Tinubu who was represented at the ceremony by the speaker of the House of representative, Abbas Tanudeen described the project as another milestone in Governments implementation to ensuring that no segment of society is left behind.
The President who acknowledged the harsh economic realities ocassioned by the reforms introduced, maintained that the measures were temporary and necessary to reposition the nation’s economy for sustainable growth.
“Our administration will not rest on its oars. We will continue to do more, build more, and invest more until the benefits of these reforms reach every single Nigerian home,” Tinubu assured.

Tinubu appealed to Nigerians to remain patient and continue supporting the administration, assuring them that their sacrifices would ultimately yield lasting economic benefits.
According to the President, the development of the Wasa Informal Sector Layout, reflects an investment in human dignity, economic freedom and inclusive growth.
Tinubu said the informal sector remains the backbone of Nigeria’s economy and expressed confidence that the new infrastructure would transform Wasa into a vibrant commercial hub, boost the Federal Capital Territory’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) and reduce the cost of doing business.
“As your President, I feel your pain, I hear your concerns, and I carry the weight of your daily struggles. These decisions were not made lightly; they are difficult but necessary surgeries required to save the patient,” he stated.
He assured that the government is alson investing in agriculture to strengthen food security and creating employment opportunities through major infrastructure projects across the country.
The President commended the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, for what he described as his dedication, commitment and effective leadership in delivering projects across the nation’s capital.
Earlier, the Minister of the FCT, Mr Nyesom Wike, described the Wasa project as a strategic intervention aimed at addressing the long-standing demands of artisans and mechanics relocated from the Apo Mechanic Village.
He urged the beneficiaries to continue supporting President Tinubu’s administration and to reciprocate the government’s goodwill through continued cooperation.
In her remarks, the Minister of State for the FCT, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, said the commissioning marked another major milestone in the FCT Administration’s drive to improve infrastructure, expand economic opportunities and promote inclusive development across the Territory.
