The Kano State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore has sent his congratulatory message to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, for the award he received from the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) for his contributions to the educational sector, as well as a prestigious award from the United States Chartered Institute of Management and Leadership.
This message was contained in a Statement issued to newsmen by Spokesperson Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai on Sunday.
Falgore stated that the awards were a result of the Governor’s consistent contributions toward educational development and effective management of both human and financial resources in the state, serving as an epitome of educational transformation through his ideals.
Furthermore, Falgore noted that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s track record, aura of leadership, and uncommon display of hard work and commitment have attracted the attention of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) and the United States Management Institute, which granted him an outstanding award in recognition of the transformations he has made in the educational sector, as well as his selfless service to his people in less than two years in office.
However, Falgore further expressed that successful people always have two things in their way: silence and a smile. His simplicity, humility, and hard work will continue to serve as an inspiration and a clear testimony of his success in Kano State.
Falgore also pledged that the Kano Assembly will maintain consistent collaboration with the Executive arm of government under the able leadership of His Excellency, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, to sustain progress and ensure the advancement of future generations.
The Nigeria Union of Teachers has honoured the Executive Governor of Kano State with a golden award for his immense contribution to repositioning the Kano State educational sector. This award was presented to him during World Teachers’ Day 2024 in Abuja while he received a fellowship and an award of excellence from the United States Management Institute, specifically in recognition of his unwavering commitment to human capital development and resource management.
